IES University Admission Procedure

An applicant who wishes to apply may choose from to follow the given options-

Download the application for admission from the University's website and submit it together with a demand draft for the required fee made payable to IES University and payable in Bhopal.

Fill up and submit an online application form together with the required cost.

Purchase Form from the Admission Cell of IES University Bhopal upon payment of the required fee, and send the completed form to the Admission Cell.

The candidate will be invited to the Entrance test/Interview/Counseling if, upon review, it is determined that he or she meets the eligibility requirements outlined by the university. Depending on the course for which admission is being sought, the University will adhere to the admissions process outlined by its own set of regulations.
- Applicants who meet the admission requirements for a department/institute must submit a properly filled-out admission application by the deadline specified.
- Non-Resident Indian candidates shall also be eligible for admission to preferred courses in accordance with the guidelines of the IES University and the Government of Madhya Pradesh, providing they fulfill the eligibility requirements outlined in section 161-C of the Indian Income Tax Act.

Academic Facilities

Library
The university has well furnished computer labs, digital class rooms, software and library with more than 15000 volumes of text books and reference books with subscribed e-journals. The department is equipped with outstanding upgraded computer lab and Wi-Fi facility. Reference Section contains Encyclopaedias, books on General Knowledge and Competitive Exams, Dictionaries, previous volumes of journals/magazines.

Laboratories
‍Labs are integral part of an academic institution and in IES University, we are strongly committed to provide world class infrastructure of labs so that, we can create ideal environment for students to understand the practical part of concepts.

‍Our Infrastructure Facilities include naturally lit spacious classrooms with Audio-Visual facility systems, ergonomically designed benches with theatre type set-up, well equipped laboratories, Wi-Fi facility, White Boards, Soft Boards, demonstration area etc.aw

Workshops/Seminars/Industrial Visit
‍Workshops and Seminars are being organised by various departments to provide extra exposure to students and faculties of the university. Students are being taken to industrial visit also for practical experiences.

The Institute has signed MOU with Metropolitan College, New York; NASSCOM; UK Education India & College of Engineering, Pune (COEP), to work together for student & faculty development, and presently College of Engineering, Pune is official mentor of IES College of Technology. IES University also has Central India’s first CII Education Excellence Forum that develops customized program and delivery models to reach out to educational institutions across India through school education, clusters, training, counseling, institutional assessments, school education, conclaves and summits to bring in quality education.

About ICAT

The Admission Cell of the University will be responsible for facilitating admissions to the desire courses followed by Entrance test/ Interview/ counseling.

The date of counseling shall be declared/published on the University's official website along with the last date of submitting the duly filled in admission application forms.

A candidate desirous of applying may:

Download the admission application form from the University's official website and submit the same with a demand draft of prescribed fee drawn in favor of IES University payable at Bhopal.

Fill in and submit application form online along with prescribed fee.

Buy in person on payment of prescribed fee from the admission cell of IES University Bhopal.

Candidates who fulfills the eligibility criteria for seeking admission to a Department/Institute shall, submit the duly filled in admission application form on or before the last date prescribed for the same.

Non-Resident Indian candidates shall also be eligible for admission to desire course, under the directives of the IES University and the Government of Madhya Pradesh, provided they satisfy the eligibility criteria as per income tax section no. 161-C.

After scrutiny, if the candidate is found to meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the University, he/she shall be called to appear for the counseling.

The University shall follow the admission process as prescribed by the norms set by it depending on the course for which counseling is to be conducted.
