B. Tech. course is of 4 years duration distributed in eight semesters. The B. Tech course deals basically with the design power-producing machines, such as electric generators, internal combustion engines, and steam and gas turbines, as well as power-using machines. B. Tech Mechanical Engineering is designed to provide training and continuing education and professional knowledge appropriate for upgrading manpower engaged in managing Mechanical/ Production/ Automobiles engineering tasks.

The objective of the B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering at IES University is to develop skilled engineers who possess a deep understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to innovate in the design, analysis, and manufacturing processes.
