Institute of Physical Education offers undergraduate and Post graduate Courses. The Department has a new initiative to encourage and to help students to acquire basic and professional knowledge of Physical Education.
The University has well furnished computer labs, digital class rooms, software and library with more than 15000 volumes of text books and reference books with subscribed e-journals for academic purpose and for practical,
University is equipped with various sports grounds and Swimming pool, along with all the medical facilities.
The Department aims to create competent and innovative professionals who would be able to contribute in the various sector of physical education for various utilities. The department has adequate facilities to support teaching, learning and research activities under the surveillance of experienced and highly qualified faculty members.
Objective
The objective of the College is to produce well-rounded physical education professionals who are not only knowledgeable about fitness and sports science but also skilled in applying this knowledge practically. It aims to cultivate leadership, ethical values, and a commitment to promoting health and physical activity in communities.

Student Labs
While traditionally not termed as "labs," the College's training facilities act as practical labs where students apply their learning. These include advanced fitness centers, athletic tracks, and simulation areas for various sports, allowing students to refine their techniques, understand exercise physiology, and master the art of coaching and sports management.
My time at IES University (IES College) truly changed who I am and who I still want to become professionally and personally. The Academic culture at IES fostered the sharing of ideas, critical discussions, collaboration among students and the faculties across a wide range of interests. I think it’s rare to find place like IES for the overall development of the students. I am really thankful to IES for providing me such student friendly learning environment and for shaping my career.
