B.A. Journalism & Mass Communication is a three-year undergraduate program exclusively designed to prepare students for the continuously evolving media & communication industry. The program outline is prepared to offer a perfect blend of theoretical knowledge and practical exposure to the students through subjects like Print Media, Electronic Media, New Media and AD & Public Relation etc. Throughout this program, students are encouraged to prepare portfolios, short films and research projects in the form of assignments. Classroom and outdoor activities are conducted to enhance students’ media communication skills. Our students can enhance their career as Radio Jockeys, Radio Producers,Anchors, TV Broadcasters, TV Producers, Filmmakers, Editors Creative/Script Writers, Advertising Executives, Corporate Communication Professionals,Digital Media Professionals, News reporter, Media researcher, Photojournalist, Public relations specialist, Video jockey etc.

The eligibility criterion for all programs for international applicants is minimum 50% in the qualifying examination and having studied the pre-requisite subjects for admission in to the desired program.
Reservation for SC/ST/OBC as per State Government Norms.
Admission Process
The Admission Cell of the University is responsible for facilitating admissions to the desired courses. Admission is through Entrance test/ Interview/Counselling.
Step 1
Download the admission application form from the University's official website and submit the same with a demand draft of prescribed fee drawn in favor of IES University payable at Bhopal.
Step 2
Fill in and submit application form online along with prescribed fee.
Step 3
Buy in person on payment of prescribed fee from the admission cell of IES University Bhopal.
Step 4
Candidates who fulfills the eligibility criteria for seeking admission to a Department/Institute shall, submit the duly filled in admission application form on or before the last date prescribed for the same.
Step 5
After scrutiny, if the candidate is found to meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the University, he/she shall be called to appear for the counseling.
